How To Make Fairy Cup-Cakes
Ingredients
- Butter 150g
- Sugar 150g
- Eggs 3 medium
- Self-Raising Flour 150g
- Baking Powder 1 tsp
- Vanilla Extract 1 1/2 tsp
Equpment
- 2 Small Bowls
- Electric Mixer or Electric Hand Whisk and Large Bowl
- Spatula
- Cup-Cake Cases
- Muffin Tray
- 2 Spoons or Ice-Cream Scoop
- Timer
- tsp Mesura
- Scales
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 160°Fan 180°Gas.
- Measure the butter in one bowl and the sugar in the other(see why later),mix the butter and sugar till it's creamy.(after mixing scrape down the sides using the spatula)
- Crack the eggs in the butter bowl to check for egg-shells, then add the eggs in with the butter and sugar mixture.And mix it for 10seconds.
- In the bowl you weighed the sugar in, weigh the flour. Once you weighed the flour add in the baking powder and give it a little mix. Then add it to the mixture and mix it.
- Then add the vanilla extract and mix.
- Line the muffin tray with the cup-cake cases.
- Then evenly put the mixture in the cupcake cases, about 2/3 up the cup-cake cases, using the two spoons (shown in the picture below) or the ice-cream scoop.
- Then bake for 20min.
- Then after twenty minutes take the cupcakes out, you may need an adult for this one, ask the adult to use a cloth or oven gloves to take out the cupcakes.
- Take out the cup-cakes from the muffin tray using a spoon to lift up the bottom of a cup-cake.
- set all the cup-cakes out on a tray to cool whilst the cup-cakes are cooling tidy up.
